News from the Nursery

Dinah gave birth to her first little lamb on March 4, 2025. I didn't expect her to deliver for a couple of weeks. As I worked all day in repairing our shade tents and hammering in grommets to repair the tent covers, I kept watching her and thinking, "Her bag looks awfully big today." By the afternoon, Dinah delivered a 13.2 lb. little ewe lamb. Her name is Jael.....it fits. 😉

Sarah gave birth on March 7, 2025 to a sweet little 12.5 lb. ewe lamb named Keturah. Mom and baby are doing great!

Although she had us worried with how big she was getting, Rebecca delivered her little twin ram lambs like a trooper on March 9, 2025. 10.7 lbs and 11.1 lbs.!

After a streak of little ram lambs, Rachel delivered twin girls on March 12th of this year! Rachel, Hadassah, and Esther are doing great! 11.7 and 11.8 lbs.

We didn't expect Abigail to deliver her first lamb so soon, but she surprised us with Bithiah on the morning of March 21st! Weighing in at 9.6 lbs., Bithiah seems to have a lot of fun trying to keep up with the other "older" lambs during playtime....but Abigail calls her back quickly, preferring her to stay close by.

Ruth finally delivered her lambs on April 7th! It was pretty obvious she was having twins, but it was a delight to see little Naomi and Judith born. Weighing in at 11.5 lbs. and 13.1 lbs., everyone is doing great!
